Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education established in 1981, is a private, non-profit entity which evaluates and accredits all United States’ medical residency programs. The ACGME’s goal is to continuously improve the quality of residents and fellows’ education through accreditation.
