Active membership in the National Association of Physician Recruiters is open to those organizations that recruit physicians. This includes physician recruiting firms, group practices, hospitals, and managed care facilities. NAPR Membership is a Company Membership. 

To qualify for ACTIVE membership, organization must recruit physicians or clinicians either for profit or for their facility. 

  1. For-Profit Search Firms must recruit physicians for the healthcare industry and collect no placement fee from physician candidates.
  2. Hospitals, Groups, and Managed Care Recruiters have primary responsibilities of the department or individual to be in physician recruitment activities. 

Criteria for ACTIVE membership requires that members of this association shall be those organizations which are: 

  1. Determined and elected by the NAPR Board of Directors, in its sole discretion, to have met the requirements for Membership in the association, and
  2. In conformance with the standards of ethical professional practice as established or adopted by the NAPR Board of Directors.

Membership Fee: $700.00 

Vendor Members shall include organizations which serve as suppliers or vendors of services or products utilized by the physician and/or clinician recruitment industry.
Vendor members of the Association may qualify for membership if they: 

  1. Are determined by the NAPR Board of Directors, in is sole discretion, to have met the requirements for membership in this Association.
  2. Are in conformance with the standards of ethical professional practice as established or adopted by the NAPR Board of Directors.
  3. Are elected to membership in NAPR by the NAPR Board of Directors. 

Vendor members shall not have the right to vote nor to hold office.

Current NAPR members:

  • There is no limit to the number of new members an existing member may refer.
  • Only those who are currently not members of NAPR can be referred.*
  • The referring member must be in active status at the time they make the referral.
  • The referring member’s name must be noted on the NAPR membership application submitted by the new active member.

*Returning active members, who have been in a “non-member” status for twelve months or more, can be referred by current members.
