This includes but is not limited to sourcing, screening and management of interviews, referencing, overseeing pre-credentialing and background checks, negotiating employment/contract offers, support with the onboarding process and providing immigration assistance. Requires:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Health Care Administration, Communications, or Psychology (or closely related field)

Preferred/Optional Experience:

• Preference for knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to recruitment and employment of physicians and advanced practice clinicians, licensure, credentialing and immigration law

• Two years or more previous experience recruiting physicians

• Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) certification.

The Sr. Manager of Recruiting contributes to Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG) success by developing and leading the strategy and execution in the talent acquisition area. This incumbent works jointly with recruiters and oversees all aspects of physician and professional staff recruitment, including ensuring proactive pipeline development for maintaining appropriate clinical FTE. The incumbent partners with Hiring Leaders and other stakeholders to develop effective up-to-date strategies, or help them implement new ones, for recruitment including social media, job boards, residency programs, and state/national medical organizations. You will also provide advice to the Hiring Leader on interviewing and selecting of best candidates.

Physician and Professional Staff Recruitment & Selection Leads the development and execution strategy to recruit highly qualified physicians and professional staff that are an excellent fit with CPMGs culture. Manages the recruiting team, including hiring and performance management. Leads the development and fostering of relationships with key recruiting sources such as residency/fellowship programs and professional associations. Oversees the development of proactive recruiting strategy that focus on hard to fill clinical departments. Search for and enforce new sourcing methods to find job candidates. Advise hiring leaders on proper interviewing methods. Ensures development of robust reporting process(es) for trend analysis identifying key metrics and performance indicators, reporting on regular cadence to track efficacy of recruiting efforts. Proactively integrates inclusion & diversity into recruiting efforts, increasing number of diverse candidates and new hires. Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures and performs in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards as they relate to human resources administration and credentialing. Oversees appropriate employment records retention standards and records management. Assures team leverages recruiting sourcing tools, including but not limited to social networks. Represents CPMG at Kaiser Permanente National Physician Recruiter meetings to discuss system strategies.

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree. Preferred Education: Degree in Business, HR, or affiliated field. Master's degree preferred OR additional professional recruiting credentials/training behind the Bachelor's degree.

Required Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications: 5+ years of direct recruitment experience; 5+ years of experience supervising direct report(s); Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; demonstrated ability to service multiple clients and adapt to change; establish priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Strong leadership and team management skills; Knowledge of Labor Laws; experience in the healthcare industry, specifically medical groups; Demonstrated working knowledge of other HR functional areas (e.g. E, I & D, Employee Relations, Professional Development); Proficiency with ADP and Applicant Tracking Systems; Knowledge of social media and professional networks.

• Providing direction to Faculty Recruitment Specialists, aligning their activity to support search committee formation, department interviews, candidate visits and finalist selection. This includes developing processes that provide candidates with a rewarding overall experience.

• Evaluating current programs/policies associated with clinical and research faculty recruitment, developing new and innovative approaches for outreach and recruitment; continually evaluating policies to ensure goals and objectives are being met, recommending and implementing changes when appropriate.

• Leveraging data to determine the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and to calibrate recruitment strategies. Will present findings and convey program goals and outcomes to senior leadership.

The desired candidate will bring:

• 5+ years of experience in clinician (APP, Physician) and/or scientific research recruitment

• At least 3 years’ experience managing a recruitment function and team

• Prior recruiting experience within an Academic Medical Center is helpful.
