Miss Deed
Dear Miss Deed:
I am doing well with my physician recruiting company and am thinking of expanding into travel services and recruiting software. Since my primary market will be physician recruiters, I have created a new company to sell these services and want to contact other NAPR members as prospects. Although the new business will still be oriented to the physician recruiting industry, I do not want to intermingle my recruiting firm with the new business, hence I have chosen a separate name. Will I have any issues with NAPR if I approach my colleagues in other organizations, under my new company name?

No one ever said being a doctor was easy. School and training go on seemingly forever, and once graduation arrives, doctors work long hours and are faced with life-and-death decisions daily.
There were once rewards. For decades, doctors earned hefty paychecks, had autonomy and respect. Those benefits are fading, and as a result, so is the number of doctors.
