Distinguished Service Award:
Marty Osinski was presented the NAPR Distinguished Service Award, the highest award given by NAPR, for his devotion to and leadership of NAPR. This inherent trait that we share – the drive for perfection – is one of the main reasons our Association continues to prosper, and the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award personifies these traits.
Marty has been involved with and actively committed to the Association since the late 1980s, serving on the Board, many committees, as well as President in 1991-92 and 2008-09. Marty continues to leave his mark on NAPR with his creativity, perseverance, and vision for the future.
President’s Award:
Anne Folger received the President’s Award for unselfishly giving of her time, knowledge and creativity to support NAPR and its mission. Ms. Folger shared her time and expertise with NAPR for several years as a Board member, and as Treasurer, she demonstrated the fiduciary instincts and financial skills necessary to insure that NAPR continues to keep its head above water in these tough economic times.
Outstanding Committee Chair Award:
Jim Stone received the Outstanding Committee Chair Award for his hard work and dedication to the Vendor Services Committee. For the past few years, Jim worked tirelessly on NAPR’s behalf to seek out and befriend the people and companies whose products and services help make our jobs as physician recruiters easier and more productive.
Vendor Appreciation Award:
The NAPR Board of Directors voted to present the 2010 Vendor Appreciation Award to JAMA for its continued support of NAPR through sponsorships, exhibiting at meetings, and advertising in several NAPR publications. Thalia Moss of JAMA was present to accept the award.
